Auntie Dorothy and Uncle Peter came to visit today (not actually my aunt and uncle, but Godfather Peter has rather unfortunate mafia overtones). They really came to Oxford to see their son who is at Oriel College, but they brought my shinai (the stick I use for kendo) with them and so popped in to see me and the flat.

Once they had left, I headed into town to obtain two computer games - F1 Racing Simulation and Worms 2. The former has received less attention in the flat, since the latter involves blowing up teams of worms with odd weapons (bazookas, Holy Hand Grenades, mad cows, old women, etc.). This, for some reason, has struck a chord with Flat Five, and I suspect I may have created a monster - all I hear now is 'How about a game of Worms?' and it is proving difficult to resist. Willpower is good.
