We had the second part of Dr. Greene's Spectroscopy and Magnetism class today. Jon was not present. We actually got out in time for lunch, which was a boon.

After lunch I decided to go to the Radcliffe Science Library to work. This was a bold move on my part, and the action of a desperate man. The science reading room is in the basement. It is decked out in brown, orange and buff formica, lit by fluorescent lights. It is one of the least pleasant areas known to man. As a result, I will do anything - even work - to get out of there more quickly. Indeed I actually managed to get a goodly dollop of the work finished, despite having to leave for regular 'light breaks'.

I left at 9.40 (having taken a break for dinner in college) with a bad case of the RSL Stares. After a few hours under those fluorescent lights, your eyes begin to involuntarily stare fixedly at everything around you. Weird.
