Having survived the onslaught of Lisa (the cupboards remain half-cleaned - she lost interest in the whole cleaning process after a few minutes), the diary continues.

There is, perhaps, little point in it continuing, since we managed to do very little today. Chris and Mark went to Lisa's flat for dinner - I maintained my firm stance of not coming running whenever she calls. The boys will have to toughen up a bit. Apparently they ended up cooking for her as well as cycling the miles to the other flats. I stayed in and watched television. Friday nights don't get any hotter than this! Living on the edge, burning the candle at both ends, that's me.

The evening's entertainment was finished with a viewing of the film 'Live Nude Girls'. Mark and Chris had come back early to make sure they caught this masterpiece of film. It was, as I suspected it would be, boring. The director blatantly missed the opportunity to play it for laughs. Chris went to bed early. He missed nothing.

As I write this, however, my mind is fizzing with business opportunities. A film called 'Five Naked Birds and a Sex Maniac' could do very well, if aired on a Friday night. The content could be a discussion of early 8th century pottery. It would keep watchers glued to their seats, not daring to go bed, to the toilet or even to the kitchen to make a cup of coffee for fear of missing the Five Naked Birds, or even the Sex Maniac.

I really must get out more.
