After the standard Wednesday last-minute dash to finish the tutorial work, I headed off to the DP for the last tutorial of term. Rather oddly, Dr. Fairbanks' office was colder than the corridor outside. We could not adequately explain this, but instead donned hats and scarves and left the door open.

The evening was spent doing a practical write-up. This involved interpreting an NMR spectrum. We haven't really been told how to do this, but are expected to be able to do it anyway. Thankfully I have a flat full of fourth year chemists who can actually do NMR, and this makes the whole exercise much simpler. NMR is quite straightforward after all.
