| The diary begins again. Flat Five gains a set of inhabitants, who set to cleaning the place, attempting to cook, and playing Nintendo.

0th Week, Michaelmas Term, 1997
| The Fear sets in as the start of term approaches, as do some exams. Mark makes and alcoholic misjudgement.

1st Week, Michaelmas Term, 1997
| Mark remains alive. Lectures begin. Flat Five is ecstatic. Lectures continue. Flat Five's ecstasy fades somewhat.

2nd Week, Michaelmas Term, 1997
| Tutorial work (or in Chris' case, lack of tutorial work) continues apace. I go to Fifth Avenue. The flat becomes unfeasibly cold. Flu strikes.

3rd Week, Michaelmas Term, 1997
| Another tutorial crisis looms. Chris shows his impeccable sense of timing by finally getting some work, just has his 'friendship' with Sarah Langford blossoms.

4th Week, Michaelmas Term, 1997
| Tutorial crises, brandy, Beer Stacks and methods of keeping life interesting.

5th Week, Michaelmas Term, 1997
| Mid-life crises, tutorial crises, practical crises. The flat reaches crisis point. Life continues as normal.

6th Week, Michaelmas Term, 1997
| The usual crises, panics general flat-based joy. Chris becomes twenty. The new, super-efficient Ian starts the tutorial work.

7th Week, Michaelmas Term, 1997
| The new, super-efficient Ian falls asleep at the tutorial work. Tutorial work grinds to a stop. Fifth Avenue is visited. Upset stomachs are had. The Practical From Hell occurs. Flat Five visits Shropshire for Sarah Lee's 21st birthday party.

8th Week, Michaelmas Term, 1997
| Flat Five wakes up at Sarah Lee's birthday party. Flat Five works (this includes Chris, on occasion).

9th Week, Michaelmas Term, 1997
| Nothing happens. Life is wonderful. I buy train tickets, with some difficulty.
