live while i'm alive, sleep when i commute

Eventually, I know, I'll sleep through my destination station. But until now my subconscious has always woken me in time to get off at the right stop.

Tube time is dead time for me. I can read, I suppose, but I don't feel much inclination to do so in the evening. I've tried writing, but the vibration makes my handwriting even worse than usual.

I'll be OK, just as long as I don't start drooling.

because i do not hope to turn again

My great uncle Tom does wood turning. He makes bowls, platters and the like on his lathe, and they're really rather lovely.

"This is nice," I told him, fondling a plate (ash, or possibly beech). "That's a failure," he replied, "See how this bit of the rim is a bit thicker than this bit?"

Eventually I'll have a woodworking shop, and I'll make beautiful things. And I can only hope my pieces are as good as his failures.

i suck

I love fanmail.

Sorry to say this, but I visited your website because i was looking for negative pictures, and upon viewing you pictures, who ever took them SUX at taking pictures. Over half of them aren't focused. The composition on some are nice but the rest are bad.

SORRY. just to let you know

So thank you, k r.

I've been meaning to get back into taking photos recently. I've got a bit of a backlog of films to develop, and I'm loath to add to it. Plus I've got out of the habit.

I really must get round to working on the UI for my photo album, though.
