Went to see Johnny English. Not a bad use of an hour and a half. More Bean than Blackadder, but OK for all that. I only had to forcibly uncurl my toes a couple of times.
Quite a hummable Robbie Williams theme. And Natalie Imbruglia.

Kate works for Centrepoint, the homelessness charity. She and her colleagues were out supporting people running for them in the London Marathon. It was a nice day, so Sara and I headed out to support the supporters.
Quite moving, in a way, watching these people who, exhausted and gasping at 19 miles, still had 7 more to go. Most of them were staggering rather than running.
Notable runners: the Save the Rhino runners in their rhino suits, some runners for the RNLI in a boat with the bottom cut out, and a soldier running with a small fridge on his back. Each to their own.
