If I'm by the window on a train, I'll sometimes look out at the track and watch one of the rails. With sufficient concentration, I can see that it's just a short piece of rail travelling along beside us.

Why I should want to do this is beyond me.

£2.50 for a small bottle of water, a large(ish) packet of crisps, and a Rolo egg from the food cart on the train. I actually caught myself thinking "oh, that's not too bad" before doing the maths.

I'm just too used to getting ripped off.
