promises, promises

Dove Promises - the Hallmark Cards of chocolate - are chunks of chocolate wrapped in foil. Each wrapper has some "heart-warming", saccharine saying inside it. "Share a smile with someone you love" or "Little things can make big differences" for example.

This makes me think of a possible sideline for Dove: "Dove Broken Promises". Each individually wrapped, fatally flawed piece of chocolate comes with it's own soul-destroying, nihilistic saying: "Share a fist with someone you hate" or "Face it, you're never going to amount to much".

It's the sort of thing that's been done before, I know. I know.

One day, I'll unwrap a chocolate and see "It's been done before" written there.
