I find it increasingly hard to use exclamation marks when I write. There's something about them that I just don't like. I think it's the aura of dumb surprise they give to a sentence which I have a problem with.
More than one exclamation mark just compounds the problem. Combining it with a question mark is beyond the pale. Oh, and question marks after sentences that aren't questions. That really pisses me off.
And breathe. And relax.
