the pain of spending
I made the most expensive purchase of my debit card's existence today: £3650's worth of season ticket to get me to work and back. Thank goodness for work's season ticket loans scheme.
I'm now really scared I'll lose it. (Well, lose it twice - they give you a replacement the first time.)

I bought a SCART block today, and some cables and stuff. So now we can happily switch between our SCARTish items easily.
It works nicely, apart from the fact that we've got no cable to go from the VCR to the block, since the one I bought from Argos fell apart. Bah.
It also seems that my stereo doesn't like audio input from these devices - nasty crackles and things over the top of the sound. Quite a disappointment, really.
